RuneScape may seem like a game stuck in the past. The graphics are dated and the gameplay seems way too simplistic. However, I am here to tell that it is more than that, and there is a reason why it is still worth caring about today.

I first played when I was around 8 or so. It didn't interest me at the time. I tend to play very fast paced games such as fighting games. Slower games never seemed to interest me.

I then started playing during the pandemic in December of 2020. During that time, I wasn't really doing much besides distance learning, so I was constantly bored and had little to do. I fell in love with how deep the game was despite its simple gameplay loop. It took time to get used to its unique retro style gameplay, but I have now gotten used to it and I believe others should give it a try. The game has something for everyone, but it may take a bit of effort to get started.

While I can go on talking about why I love this game so much and why others should check Old School RuneScape out, that would be rather boring, so instead, I made a website which will basically go through pieces of content which I have experienced in game and why I think it would make others care.
